Refund Policy
At Career Prep Academy, we are committed to providing quality educational services, courses, training programs, study materials, and learning resources. Please read this Refund & Cancellation Policy carefully before making any payment or enrolling in a course.
1. Course Enrollment
Once a student has completed registration and payment for a course, the enrollment is considered confirmed.
Students are advised to review the course details, eligibility, duration, fees, mode of delivery, and other applicable terms before making payment.
2. Refund Policy
Course fees are generally non-refundable once the course has commenced or course access/materials have been provided.
A refund may be considered only in exceptional circumstances and at the sole discretion of Career Prep Academy, subject to verification and applicable terms.
Where a refund is approved:
- The refund will normally be processed through the original payment method.
- Applicable payment gateway or transaction charges may be deducted.
- Refund processing may take 7–15 working days after approval.
- Any applicable statutory deductions or non-refundable charges may be deducted from the refundable amount.
3. Cancellation Before Course Commencement
If a student requests cancellation before the scheduled commencement of the course, the Academy may consider the request on a case-by-case basis.
Any refund, if approved, will depend on:
- Time of cancellation
- Course type
- Whether study materials or digital access have already been provided
- Administrative and payment-processing charges
- Specific terms communicated at the time of enrollment
4. Online / Digital Courses
For online courses, recorded classes, downloadable materials, e-books, PDFs, videos, test series, digital certificates, or other digital content, refunds may not be available once the student has received access to the digital content or learning platform.
Students should ensure that they have the required device, internet connection, software, and technical facilities before purchasing an online course.
5. Live Classes & Coaching Programs
Fees paid for live classes, coaching programs, workshops, training sessions, or batch-based courses are generally non-refundable after the batch has commenced.
If a student is unable to attend classes due to personal reasons, absence from classes will not automatically create a right to a refund.
Where reasonably possible, the Academy may offer an alternative batch, transfer, or other academic solution at its discretion.
6. Study Materials
Fees relating to books, printed study materials, notes, kits, or other physical learning materials may be non-refundable once the materials have been dispatched or handed over to the student.
7. Course Cancellation by the Academy
If Career Prep Academy cancels a course or is unable to commence the course for reasons attributable to the Academy, the Academy may provide one of the following, as applicable:
- Transfer to another batch/course; or
- Credit/adjustment toward another eligible course; or
- Refund of the applicable course fee, subject to the circumstances.
8. Duplicate or Excess Payment
If a student accidentally makes a duplicate payment or pays an amount in excess of the applicable course fee, the student should contact the Academy promptly.
After verification, the eligible excess amount may be refunded through the original payment method, subject to applicable transaction charges.
9. Refund Request Procedure
To request cancellation or a refund, the student should contact the Academy using the official contact details provided on the website.
The request should include:
- Student's full name
- Registered mobile number
- Email address
- Course/program name
- Date of payment
- Payment/transaction reference number
- Reason for the refund request
The Academy may request additional information or documents to verify the request.
10. No Refund for Certain Circumstances
Refunds may not normally be provided due to:
- Change of mind after enrollment
- Failure to attend classes
- Personal scheduling conflicts
- Lack of internet/device access for online courses
- Failure to complete the course
- Failure to achieve expected examination or employment results
- Failure to use provided course materials or content
11. Examination & Employment Results
Enrollment in any course does not guarantee admission, examination success, certification by an external authority, employment, promotion, salary increase, or any specific career outcome.
12. Policy Changes
Career Prep Academy reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy when necessary. Any updated policy will be published on the website with the revised effective date.
